SWAPS are a true Girl Scout Tradition. At our Camporee, we set aside a part of the day for exchanging these wonderful creations and mementos; it’s a Fairport Girl Scout Tradition.
The Fairport Service Unit Program Committee is hosting a SWAP making event for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts. Watch for a future flyer!

Girl Scout Traditions is our Camporee 2010 theme. In 1910, the Girl Guides movement was founded by Agnes Baden-Powell, Lord Baden-Powell's sister. Lord Baden-Powell was the founder of Boy Scouts. We are celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Boy Scouting and Girl Guides, the ideas which prompted the beginning of Girls Scouts in America in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, our founder.
